Mogers Drewett appoints new Partner to Dispute Team

Mogers Drewett, the South West based law firm with offices in Bath, Sherborne, Wells and Frome, will strengthen its Dispute Team with the appointment of new Partner Luke Watson this April. Luke Watson specialises in property and commercial litigation and has developed a niche practice in disputed wills, trusts and estates.

Talking about the new appointment, Steven Treharne, Managing Partner at Mogers Drewett said: “We are pleased to welcome Luke to the team. His commitment to providing clients with practical, objective advice throughout mediation, arbitration and court proceedings is a good fit with our own ethos. Commercial disputes are often expensive and can harm a company’s reputation. Luke’s experience allows him to consider the commercial and financial reality of any dispute situation and explore all forms of alternative dispute resolution in the best interest of the client, often without the need to go to court. His skills and expertise will add further strength and depth to our thriving dispute team.”

In addition to Luke’s role at Mogers Drewett he regularly conducts seminars with other professional lawyers and is a member of the Bristol Law Society, the Law Society’s Civil Litigation Section, a full member of ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) and a member of the Property Litigation Association.
