Mogers Drewett proud to sponsor Wells Food Festival
We are thrilled to announce that we will be sponsoring the ‘Wells Food Festival’ which takes place on Sunday 13 October at the Market Square in Wells. The Food Festival celebrates local food and drink with over 150 artisan producers from Somerset.
Tom Chiffers, new lead Partner in the Wells office, says “I am really exited that we are sponsoring the Wells Food Festival for the first time this year. It is wonderful to be part of such a well-established local event and to meet so many local food and drink producers. From a selfish point of view, I am looking forwarding to judging the Best Cheese award during the day. It is great to be able to put all of my amateur cheese tasting to good use at last!
At Mogers Drewett we pride ourselves on our focus on our clients and our local community. We have been in Somerset for nearly 200 years and that history is one of our strengths. It is that history and focus that helps us deliver for our clients.
What impressed me most about the Food Festival was that they are unapologetically focused on celebrating the wonderful food and drink producers we have here in Somerset. We have such a rich tradition in food and drink production here but sometimes it is taken for granted. I like the fact that the Food Festival celebrates those traditions whilst also showcasing some more exotic local products.
I am proud to have grown up in Somerset and delighted that we are taking part in celebrating one of the many things that makes Somerset so great.”
