Call Victoria

I trained with Mogers Drewett and joined the family department as a qualified solicitor in September 2010. I work between our Bath and Wells offices.

I deal with all aspects of private family law, although have an interest in financial disputes between separating or divorcing couples and am often involved in cases with an agricultural background.

I enjoy working collaboratively with the other party and their solicitor to find bespoke solutions that suit the parties and their family. Working in this way encourages better working relationships in the future, this is particularly important where there are children involved and there is a need to co-parent moving forwards.

I’m also an active member of Resolution, being on the Bath Committee, which is an organisation of lawyers committed to resolving family matters in a non-acrimonious and child-focused manner.

Recently ranked in Chambers 2022 with clients saying "Victoria Cobham is a great calming presence and reasoned influence on a client and case. "She has an excellent way of working: prompt, effective and sensible. She really looks after her clients but is also thorough and very good at dealing with other solicitors."

« Back to team

  • Victoria Strode is a credit to your team. I met Victoria during a very difficult time in my life, At times I was very upset and found everything completely overwhelming. But Victoria made an awful situation as bearable as possible. She is very friendly and actually appears to care, whilst remaining professional. She guided me through the whole divorce process and I felt reassured by having her support.

    Chambers 2020 UK Guide
  • Victoria was a lifeline to me over what was a very difficult time, offering sensitive, practical and timely advice whenever I needed it. Her approach was respectful throughout. Having someone so professional and knowledgeable working with me really helped me to not just cope with my situation, but to grow from it and to really understand exactly what I wanted and be successful in achieving it.
