Call Victoria

I advise on all aspects of private family law and work between our Bath and Wells offices.

What I enjoy most is round-table meetings, working jointly with the ‘other side’ and their solicitor, taking a collective and holistic approach. Our aim is to achieve an outcome, which means that all parties can move on and actually speak to each other afterwards! This is particularly important where there are children involved. I’m also an active member of Resolution, an organisation of lawyers committed to resolving family matters in a non-acrimonious and child-focused manner.

I enjoy helping my clients and have been named in the respected legal directory, Chambers & Partners, as an ‘associate to watch’, as a result of my clients feedback. Also in Legal 500 I have been described as ‘calm but robust, and again pragmatic’,

In my spare time I enjoy skiing and running, having competed in events such as the Bristol Half Marathon, 10K and Tough Mudder. I also try to visit a new country every year!

  • A trained mediator, Victoria is praised by sources for her "fair and conciliatory approach." Also how "she really thinks about how her work impacts on the client and tries to assist in moving things forward."

  • Victoria Strode is a credit to your team. I met Victoria during a very difficult time in my life, At times I was very upset and found everything completely overwhelming. But Victoria made an awful situation as bearable as possible. She is very friendly and actually appears to care, whilst remaining professional. She guided me through the whole divorce process and I felt reassured by having her support.
