Lease Extensions

MAKING IT EASIER TO LENGTHEN YOUR LEASEHOLD.

All leases are drafted so that they come to an end on a fixed date. If the period of time that remains on a lease is too short it can make the property difficult to sell or re-mortgage.

Enfranchisement – As a leaseholder you have a legal right to buy the freehold of the property. This right not only applies to tenants of flats but to owners of leasehold houses.

Right to Manage – Leaseholders of flats can collectively exercise a right to force the landlord to transfer management functions of the building to a company set up by the leaseholders.
