Litigation and Disputes Resolution Solicitor (0 to 4 years PQE)

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for two dedicated Litigation and Disputes Resolution Solicitors (0 to 4 years PQE) to join our team. If you’re passionate about providing a high-quality legal service to clients on matters relating to civil/commercial litigation and disputes resolution and looking to make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you.

 

About The Role

As our Litigation and Disputes Resolution Solicitor (0 to 4 years PQE), you will:

Manage own cases and clients including:

Disputes relating to commercial property, land law (boundaries, easements, restrictive covenants, adverse possession, etc.), probate, wills, trusts, estates, as well as company and commercial disputes;

To undertake advocacy as appropriate, including the preparation and management of cases;

Processing clients’ cases on a timely and cost-effective basis;

Dealing with a wide range of queries from colleagues;

Liaising with clients both over the telephone and in writing to provide clear and accurate advice;

Managing your own caseload from start to finish and assisting junior members of the team;

Dealing with complex defended cases;

Contributing to the growth of firm through business development and the development of operational efficiencies and litigation strategies;

Progressing cases efficiently to conclusion including attendance at mediations and attendance at court.

 

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Experience of working within a disputes/litigation team, including Property and/or Commercial litigation an advantage (or willingness to learn).

Demonstrate commercial and financial awareness including ability to take responsibility for financial control of own client matters.

Demonstrate ability to develop positive relationships with clients and manage client expectations.

Demonstrate marketing, networking and business development skills commensurate with the role.

Demonstrate good commercial awareness and be involved in business development.
