Our Agriculture & Land team is at the heart of our practice, acting for a wide range of landowners, farmers, estates, and businesses across the region and beyond.
We are now seeking a Senior Associate (5PQE+) to join our busy and growing team.
The Role
You will play a key role in advising on all aspects of agricultural and rural property law, including:
- Sales and purchases of farms, estates, and rural land
- Agricultural tenancies
- Rural land development and diversification projects
- Succession planning support
- Agricultural finance and security work
You will have the opportunity to manage a high-quality caseload, develop strong client relationships, and work closely with colleagues across the Firm to deliver joined-up solutions.
About You
We are looking for a technically strong and commercially minded Solicitor or Legal Executive who is enthusiastic about rural matters. The successful candidate will have:
- 5PQE(+) in agricultural/rural property/commercial law (more experienced candidates are very welcome to apply)
- Strong technical skills in property transactions with a real interest in the rural sector
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Passion for building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients
- Commercial understanding
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Mentoring skills
