Commercial Property Solicitor – 5+ years PQE

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join our team in Bath.

You’ll work with a broad range of clients across commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, landlord and tenant work, financing and development projects. You’ll take ownership of your matters and client relationships, helping clients understand their options, navigate problems and make good decisions.

A collaborative approach

You won’t be working in isolation. Our Commercial Property team works closely with colleagues across the firm, including specialists in planning, dispute resolution, corporate and residential property, allowing us to provide joined-up advice when a client’s situation extends beyond one area of law.

This could be particularly interesting if you have built good experience and are ready for a role where you can play a bigger part in what happens next.

At 5+ years PQE, we’re looking for someone who can bring sound technical judgement and take responsibility for their work, but the opportunity is broader than running a caseload. We want someone who is interested in helping us grow the team’s reach and presence: building strong client and referrer relationships, developing opportunities, contributing ideas and playing an active part in shaping the practice as it grows.

Career progression

There is room to progress, but progression and helping to build the practice go together. If you want to develop your career by taking greater responsibility for clients, relationships and the direction of a team, our size and structure can give you the opportunity to do that.

You don’t need to arrive with all of that already worked out. You may simply have reached the point where you want more opportunity to use what you’ve learned, develop more than just the technical side of your work and have a meaningful hand in building something.
