We’re looking for:

Commercial Property lawyer and/or Legal Executive (Agriculture experience an advantage).  Flexible on PQE and location.

Agriculture Lawyer –flexible on PQE, ideally to be based from our Wells office, opportunity to work from home on some days but we want you nearby so that you can be really embedded in the local farming community!

Corporate & Commercial Solicitor 3 years+ PQE

Our Corporate Commercial team has grown from 1 to 4 team members in the last 5 years and are now looking to recruit our 5th after another record breaking year.

We have been lead advisors on and completed sale and purchase mandates with a combined deal value of over £92m in the last 4 months alone and so we really need another pair of hands to help with our ambitious growth plans.

We are a highly collegiate, friendly, down to earth and personable bunch who work as a high functioning team to deliver and exceed our client’s expectations. We have a very flat hierarchy, great team culture and work hard to deliver team targets whilst individually having the autonomy to develop our own client base, specialisms and career paths.

The Corporate Commercial team is based from our new purpose built offices in the heart of Bath which is only 6 minutes’ walk from the station so in easy reach of London or Bristol. Our other offices are spread throughout the South West.

We act for individuals and companies from start-ups through to listed companies (including some household names you will have heard of!) but the majority of our time is spent looking after SME clients in the South West and beyond. Our work areas include advising on share and asset sale and purchase mandates, reorganisations, investment rounds, share buybacks, joint ventures, financing and security arrangements as well as non-transactional work including commercial contract advice.

If you:

  • Are 3+ PQE (you will see the role is not set and will only be determined once we know what experience you will bring)
  • have great credentials in some or all of the areas highlighted above (or others that may compliment our current offering)
  • are a team player but can also work autonomously on your own case load
  • are highly driven, and motivated to exceed financial targets with a completer / finisher attitude
  • possess good commercial acumen
  • communicate well
  • have personality
