Mogers Drewett sponsored Yeovil Half Marathon

West Country law firm Mogers Drewett was a sponsor of the Yeovil Half Marathon 2017. In its seventh year, the marathon took place on Sunday 26th March, starting and finishing in Yeovil Town Centre. Organisers of the marathon confirmed that almost 2000 runners took part in the marathon, making it a tremendous success.

Speaking about the sponsorship, Justin Hopkins of Mogers Drewett said “The Yeovil Half Marathon is a well-established event in the town’s calendar and is embraced by the local community. Mogers Drewett is a business which is keen to support community events and we can see the value the marathon has for the town and its people. Not only does it bring local people together, it also attracts visitors into Yeovil, which is great for local business and raising the profile of the town.

Race Director Steve Elliott said “Corporate sponsorship is extremely important as it helps us to keep the cost to racers down and ensures the event remains attractive. This is vital in ensuring longevity of the event and protecting its legacy. Mogers Drewett are a new sponsorship partner and we are hopeful that we can build a long partnership.

“This year’s marathon was special for a number of reasons. As well as starting and finishing in the town we also introduced a kid’s fun run and women’s only fun.”

As well as offices in nearby Sherborne, Mogers Drewett also has offices in Bath, Wells and Frome. For more information on Yeovil Half Marathon visit www.yeovilhalf.com
