Call Richard

I am a Partner in the Commercial Property team based in the Bath office. I have previously practised in London and Nairobi, both in private practice and in-house.

I am experienced in handling most areas of commercial property work but focus on development, option and overage agreements. I also specialise in acting for both landowners and mineral and aggregates operating companies on the management and extraction of mineral deposits.

By working alongside clients from the earliest possible stage, I enjoy getting to know and understand their business and I believe this is integral to providing clear and pragmatic commercial advice. I also aim to grow long standing relationships with clients by avoiding legalease and the complicated jargon often associated with the legal profession.

As a Welshman, life outside of work is dominated by rugby, skiing, travelling and by my wife and two children.
